Today i started doing the 120k service on my tt, everything was going well until i got to the crankshaft gear after i removed the t-belt. i tried every possible way to slide it off the crankshaft and it just wouldn't come off, it literally took me about 3 hours of hammering with a chisel and prybars, to get pissed off, get the grinder, and cut it off. it was so rusted i would have never gotten it off without cutting it. thanks to greg and seb at specialty z that had the gear in stock, drove and picked it up, i was too frustrated to start working on it again. so i will attempt to get it back together tomorrow, hopefully averything goes well. thanks for reading.
